Jane teaches Taiko drumming in Schools in Cornwall and is a one to one Music Mentor, using music and creativity with children and young people who have had adverse childhood experiences. This work takes her to schools across Cornwall, working closely with Teachers, SENDCOs and TAs to best support some of our most vulnerable children. This has been created to support children with regulating their emotions, boosting co-ordination and connection and reducing cortisol (stress hormone). Jane feels passionate about the power of Sound as a healing modality. Her collection of therapeutic instruments are used in one to one treatments and in group Sound Baths. There is something quite magical about how the instruments sound at The Meadow, so you are in for a real treat if you experience a one to one treatment or a Sound Bath.
Jane and Emily run a singing group (Meadow Voices) at The Meadow and also run Singing for Health sessions, which incorporate Sound Healing and Meditation.
