Jane Staffieri (Diploma Youth and Community Worker, Diploma in Integral Sound Healing)

Jane has been working in Music and Sound for most of her career. She has been training with the Sound Healing Academy International since 2013 to fulfill her dream of becoming a Sound Therapist, using therapeutic instruments to target particular needs in a holistic and highly skilled way.

Former Director of Cymaz Music, Jane was responsible for building a music programme underpinned by inclusion. Her passion and drive is to promote equality and to help people to achieve their potential and enjoy optimum health and well-being.

Jane teaches Taiko drumming in Schools in Cornwall and is a one to one Music Mentor, using music and creativity with children and young people who have had adverse childhood experiences. This work takes her to schools across Cornwall, working closely with Teachers, SENDCOs and TAs to best support some of our most vulnerable children. With Emily, Jane delivers a Mindfulness through Music and Movement programme in Schools in Cornwall. This has been created to support children with regulating their emotions, boosting co-ordination and connection and reducing cortisol (stress hormone).  Jane is a Thrive and TIS Practitioner (Trauma and Mental Health Informed). She holds insurance and an enhanced DBS check.

Jane feels passionate about the power of Sound as a healing modality. Her collection of therapeutic instruments are used in one to one treatments and in group Sound Baths. There is something quite magical about how the instruments sound at The Meadow, so you are in for a real treat if you experience a one to one treatment or a Sound Bath.

Jane and Emily run a singing group (Re:Choired) at The Meadow and also run Singing for Health sessions, which incorporate Sound Healing and Meditation.
